In today’s audio diary we could not agree of what home is - because Lera and I are very different. We share our stories of how we both accidentally found peace in Vilnius, Lithuania. We didn’t really plan to move here, but now we don’t want to move out.

Lera tells that she started to value her “nest” 🐦 and time with her boyfriend even more when the war started. I don’t have a girlfriend, but I have friends who love and value me so much that I often feel afraid of having to make space for The Person…

And then I remember that many people don’t have even a fraction of what we have now, and in the audio we think aloud about this too. And about people who were displaced by the war and won’t be able to return soon. We believe we can help them and it keeps us going.

But…really, is there something more valuable in life than having a home and people who love you?
