The core loop of our online school is that people learn by working with peers and having guidance from mentors. And while many modern cohort-based courses are designed like this and, frankly, universities are built around a similar concept, outside of creator industry this approach still feels somewhat revolutionary.
We’re told that we’d be putting people under too much stress, that learning at their own pace is what people want. Yes. But we’re community geeks and we believe that people learn best from hanging out with people like them, struggling together and growing together. So the hard problem would be to facilitate friendship…
